They have showerproof inner liners, which are good for light rain but not for heavy downpours or prolonged use in rain. They also have shoulder straps for carrying them around when you get off of your bike. A small external pocket stores essentials and 5 different colour inserts let you customise the look of the panniers to match your bike.
